These solutions empower sustainable, high-yield farming for Uganda’s agricultural communities.
Enhanced Yields: Modern irrigation boosts crop production.
Market Connections: Infrastructure links farmers to buyers.
Financial Growth: Aid and training increase incomes.
Sustainable Support: Resources empower lasting commercial farming.
With our agro programs, we empower small-scale farmers by providing access to information, professional consultancy, and skills training to enhance productivity and sustainability. Farmers, primarily youth and women, across multiple regions, are trained on smart organic practices like urban farming and crop-specific techniques. Through business skilling and mentorship at WATO’s Nakasongola farm, we support farm setup, soil testing, and planning. Aligned with SDGs like Zero Hunger, these efforts aim to reduce poverty, boost food security, and make farming viable for marginalized groups.
